We will be meeting at Saltersford Valley Picnic Area car park (between Oakthorpe & Donisthorpe) for this month's walk.
As usual we will be meeting at 10:20am to leave at 10:30am, on the dot!
We had planned, back in March , to do the 'bluebell walk' this month and four weeks ago it was magnificent.
Mick and I did a pre-run today, taking in a few different 'twists and turns' and although the bluebells are still in evidence
sadly they are almost at an end. Everything is so early this year.
That said it was still a pleasant walk, quite easy, a few ups and downs, one stile (easy grade!) and NO MUD!!!
The walk was probably a little over 3 miles and took 1 hour 15 minutes at a steady pace.
It would be lovely to see a good turn-out but whatever you chose to do we hope you can make the most of the better
weather.
Carolyn has suggested we set up a WhatsApp Group for 'POPs'. I have always wanted to do this but don't know how
(IT disaster area!!!) so thanks Carolyn.
