We all have things we value about living in Oakthorpe, Donisthorpe and Acresford, as well as ideas about what we would like to see protected, improved or changed in the future. A Neighbourhood Plan gives our community the opportunity to bring those views together and have a greater say in how our area develops.

It can cover things that matter locally, from new development and the character of our villages to green spaces, local facilities and the places that are important to us. Most importantly, this is our Neighbourhood Plan, and we want it to be shaped by the people who live here. Whether you have lived in Oakthorpe, Donisthorpe or Acresford all your life, or have only recently moved to the area, your views matter and we would love you to get involved and help us plan for the future.

Three villages, one community.
